Coinford puts the Health and Safety of its workforce at the heart of every project. We have achieved an incredible milestone of completing over 2,000,000 working hours without a RIDDOR reportable incident across the Coinford group. We are constantly striving to improve our Safety standards through our core values, training, implementing new technology and improving our procedures and processes.

In pursuit of continuous improvement, Coinford ensures all personnel have the skills and qualifications to carry out their duties safely and meet all statutory requirements. We are fully committed to competence-based card schemes CSCS/CPCS/NPORS ensuring our workforce is competent. In addition, we are proud to be an NPORS approved training centre and a CITB-approved training organisation, delivering quality training by our dedicated trainers to our workforce.

Our internal training department continues to grow and develop. We have in-house facilities to enable a range of H&S courses to be delivered to a high standard. NPORS plant operators (excavator, roller, dumper, telehandler, loader), Slinger/signaller, Confined space, Safe working at height, Abrasive wheels, CAT and Genny, Vehicle traffic marshal and numerous other courses can be delivered by our experienced trainers at our dedicated training facility.

Coinford is proud to have developed and delivered Behavioural Change training across all levels of management within the business. At the site level ‘Worker Engagement’ training is completed, this promotes interaction and engagement with our operatives to further improve H&S standards on site. ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ training is delivered to enable our management to perform to their best.

All of the above creates a Safety culture which ensures everyone works safely and returns home safely.
